for a very special and fun social action project!

9:30-11:30 a.m. in the social hall
We will be making sleeping mats for the homeless population
of Bloomington
using plarn (plastic yarn) made from recycled plastic grocery bags.
To learn more, google “making sleeping mats from plastic bags”
Instructions will be given.
We’ll need helpers to cut and tie to make the plarn
and helpers to crochet or knit into sleeping mats
Everyone please bring plastic bags and scissors
· For those who want to knit or crochet, please bring
your own crochet hook size 10 or larger
or knitting needles size 13 or larger
This is a long-term project that you can work on at home and
together monthly.
