Adult Education

Adult education is an integral part of congregational life at Congregation Beth Shalom. It is designed to expand congregants’ knowledge of Jewish culture, principles, worship and Hebrew texts.

We offer a variety of courses and programs, including Book Club, Hebrew classes, and Torah study, as well as those exploring topics such as modern ethical challenges, Jewish history, and cooking.

The CBS Adult Education Committee meets periodically to choose topics and plan programs. They draw from the talent of our own congregation and the community at large to lead the presentations.
