Congregation Beth Shalom Brotherhood is open to male CBS members and non-affiliated Reform Jewish men in the Indianapolis community who seek camaraderie with other Jewish men. Our Brotherhood provides ample opportunities to serve our congregation and the community in a spirit of fellowship.
Brotherhood members serve as ushers at High Holidays, man the grill for BBQ Shabbat, cook for our Hanukkah and Purim celebrations, put up the sukkah for Sukkot and do a variety of other mitzvahs. Brotherhood also hosts social occasions such as outings to local brew pubs, Colts game watches, etc.
In the greater community, Brotherhood cooks and entertains for children living in a shelter at Halloween, and twice each year it provides food and fellowship to the homeless.
Brotherhood meets on the first Monday of each month virtually starting at 6:15 pm until further notice.
